Ms. Janet Tucker CEO of anet mining company is a Sierra Leonean national, whose Sierra Leone address is 103 Regent Road Lumley, Freetown. Ms. Janet Tucker is the owner of SIMBIE JANET MINING COMPANY (SL) LIMITED, which Ms. Janet Tucker incorporated and registered to engage in the mining of diamonds and gold in various parts of the country.
Janet Tucker is the owner of 25,000 acres of mining land In Sierra Leone that was given to her by her late step-father and Paramount Chief of Nimiyema Chiefdom and other Paramount Chiefs of several Chiefdoms in Kono, Kenema and Bo Districts for mining and exploration for diamonds and gold under her company, Simbie Janet Mining Company (SL) Limited.
Arrangements are now being made with our field officers to help Ms. Janet Tucker sort out all her mineral rights for the 25,000 acres of land, so that the Simbie Janet Mining Company (SL) Limited can pay the prescribed licence fees in respect of the necessary mining and exploration licences for operations to commence as soon as possible. I also understand from Ms. Janet Tucker that her investor is planning to travel to Sierra Leone to sign a contract with her at the Ministry of Mines and Mineral Resources. In this regard, I am to inform you that it is not the policy of Government and indeed the Ministry, to be involved in the signing of a contract between an investor and his local private partner. As Ms. Janet Tucker is the rightful owner of her land and the mining company, any arrangement between her and the investor is a purely private affair and as such the signing of their contract should take place at any agreed location or by email. The responsibility of the Mines Ministry is mainly to formulate mining laws and policies, administer and regulate the country's mining sector, which includes the collection of license fees and the issue of licences to explore, mine and market minerals.
In a bid to fast track Ms. Janet Tucker's mining projects, it is advised that the contract between Ms. Janet Tucker and her investor be signed immediately, so that we can proceed with the processing and . . . .
